Cabo Marine Show puts Luxury Vessels on Display

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – The 5th annual Cabo Marine Show that will feature marine products and services, art exhibits and the latest in boat luxury yacht charters, is scheduled to run May 15-17 at Cabo San Lucas Marina.

Billed as the “largest marine networking event in Mexico,” this year’s show will allow guests to enjoy three days boarding boats, talking to yacht brokers and perusing boats of various sizes.

“In 2013 exhibitors grew by 15 percent more than the 2012 show and we’re expecting even more growth in the weeks prior to this year’s show,” said Oscar Avalos, director of MAA+Eventos, meetings and conventions, the company that manages the show.
This year’s show will include a used-boat market, local and domestic yacht brokers, marine products and services and art exhibits. A traditional VIP cocktail reception will be held at L-Dock where exhibitors can network while relaxing with a libation.

“Of Mexico’s currently running boat shows, we remain the only one that has been doing it for four years straight – since 2010,” said Sergio Igartua, the show’s founder and producer “Making it Mexico’s longest running boat show.”

The show is sponsored by IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas, the Los Cabos Tourism Board and Bahia Hotel and Beach Club.
