Two Harbors Hosts 13th Annual Wine Festival

TWO HARBORS — Wine connoisseurs can taste the finest in reds, chardonnays, syrahs and bubbles during Two Harbors 13th annual Wine Festival from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 7.

The one-day event, hosted by Two Harbors Enterprises and the Avalon Rotary Club, is a tasting extravaganza featuring the finest in imported and regional wines.

The popular event sells out every year with more than 550 people in attendance, purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. Once on site, tasters can walk from table to table, where more than 50 wineries will have designated stations.

Ticket price includes a complimentary souvenir wine glass, unlimited tasting of the anticipated 50 varieties of wine being offered, complementary light appetizers, live music, and access to the event silent auction. The wine festival is a charity event with all proceeds going to the Avalon Rotary Club and directly benefiting local island charities and scholarships.
Last year, Fetzer Wines, represented by Kristal Anderson, took home the trophy for favorite winery.  Fetzer will be in attendance again this year, so the competition is steep.

The proceeds from wine festival directly benefit Avalon Rotary, one of the leading service clubs on Catalina Island. Tickets can be purchased for $40 by calling (310) 510-4205. For more information, go to visitcatalinaisland.myshopify.com/products/winefestival
