Harbor Police units responded to a call of an overturned vessel near Buoy 22A.  Two subjects were taken aboard the Harbor Police vessel and the overturned vessel was towed to the rental company in Coronado.
Aug. 29• Harbor Police units investigated a domestic violence incident aboard a vessel in the A-1 Anchorage.
Aug. 26• Harbor Police units cited a 52-year-old male for unsafe vessel operation off of Ballast Point.

Harbor Police Units assisted US Border Patrol agents with detaining four subjects who were attempting to enter the country illegally.  
July 16•  Harbor Police Units investigated a disturbance on the bait barge. A 50-year old male was transported to County Mental Health for a 72-hour evaluation.

June 22 •
Harbor Police units investigated a vessel collision in the Shelter Island yacht basin.
June 19 • Harbor Police units investigated a domestic violence incident aboard a vessel in the Harbor Island west lagoon. A 26-year old male was arrested for domestic violence and child cruelty.

June 2 • Harbor Police units responded to Fiddlers Cove to assist with a vessel that was taking on water. There were four passengers on the vessel, who were safely transported to a Harbor Police vessel. The sinking vessel was dewatered and towed back to the marina.

May 18 • 
Harbor Police units responded to the Maritime Museum for a report of a 33-year -old male trespassing aboard a vessel. The subject was taken into custody and transported to County Mental Health and placed for a 72 hour evaluation.

May 9 •
 Harbor Police responded to a call of a 29 foot sailboat stuck on the Zuniga Jetty. The vessel was towed back into the main channel.
May 6 • Harbor Police unites investigated a vessel accident near the Zuniga Jetty.
May 6 • Harbor Police took a 46-year-old female into custody for a mental health evaluation. She was swimming in the bay off Harbor Drive and stated that she was hearing voices.

April 22 •
 The Harbor Police were called to investigate a child custody dispute on a vessel docked at 188 Harbor Island Drive. The dispute involved a five-year-old child.
April 22 • The Harbor Police responded to call of a vessel in distress near buoy 14 in San Diego Bay. The vessel was towed to the Shelter Island Boat Yard.

April 17 •
 Harbor Police responded to the Sweetwater Channel for a report of a 20 foot vessel taking on water. There were three people on board. Police units towed the vessel to the National City launch ramp where the vessel was removed from the water.

 A 26 -year old male and a 54- year old male were arrested at the Shelter Island launch ramp for being drunk in public.
March 24 • Investigated a report of a stolen 9-foot dinghy from the Shelter Island Yacht basin.

 Investigated a fuel spill in the Shelter Island Yacht Basin.
March 10 • Served a temporary restraining order on a subject aboard a vessel in the Shelter Island Yacht Basin.
March 16 • The body of an unidentified male was recovered from the water off of Embarcadero Marina Park south. Body was transferred to the County Coroner’s office. A death investigation is being conducted.

 20- year old male arrested off of Harbor Island for theft of a dinghy
Feb. 28 • 51- year old male found operating a vessel at night without any navigation lights.  Subject was discovered to be a fugitive from Arizona. Subject was taken to San Diego County jail pending extradition.
Feb. 27 • Stolen vessel recovered in the Shelter Island Yacht Basin.
Feb. 27 • 43-year old female on a vessel in the Americas Cup Harbor arrested for domestic violence.
Feb. 25 • Ten-foot dinghy impounded after being found adrift in the Chula Vista Marina.

 Officers impounded a dinghy found adrift near the main shipping channel.
Feb. 19 • The body of an unidentified male was recovered from the water off of Broadway Pier.  Body was transferred to the County Coroner’s office.  A death investigation is being conducted.

Jan. 21 • 6:27 a.m. Harbor Patrol responded to a boat adrift near the Catalina Express. Vessel was moved during high tide.

Jan. 12 • 2:36 p.m.
Harbor Patrol received a report that two kayaks were stolen from the Youth & Group docks the day before. One of the kayaks was left adrift nearby and picked up by the reporting person. Jan. 11 • 6:55 p.m. Harbor Patrol assisted an outside agency to catch and detail an escapee from home detention.
