Big Bay Shuttle Service Runs Through Labor Dayposted: 6/14/2013
Operated through a partnership with Ace Parking Management, the shuttle service will run during the busy summer season, providing access from downtown San Diego to the attractions along the Embarcadero and on Harbor Island.
This summer marks the Big Bay Shuttle’s first official run after a limited trial period last year that was well received by riders. Now, passengers can ride the shuttle for $3 per day through Sept. 2.
There are eight service locations on the shuttle route. Stops include the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina on Harbor Island, the Maritime Museum of San Diego, the Wyndham San Diego Bayside, Broadway Pier/Navy Pier, Seaport Village, the Manchester Grand Hyatt, the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina, and the Hilton Bayfront San Diego.
Tickets can be purchased at any of the eight stops. The shuttle runs from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday-Thursday and from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Shuttle stops are marked with the Big Bay logo.
All shuttle vehicles are run on compressed natural gas (CNG) and are accessible for people with disabilities.
