LONG BEACH — Forty-six racers – ages 18 to 88 – spent the weekend of June 6-7 sailing Naples Sabots in the 2015 Senior and Masters Sabot Nationals. Participants represented eight yacht clubs from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

DANA POINT — Dana West Yacht Club will continue its annual tradition of hosting a Charity Regatta, which raises funds for several local nonprofits, from June 5-7 in Dana Point Harbor.
DANA POINT — The Women’s Ocean Racing Sailing Association (WORSA), which relaunched in January of this year after a three year hiatus, is now Women’s Sailing Association ? Orange County (WSA-OC). Along with the new name, the organization rolled out a new logo which updated their familiar logo featuring three pink sails.
REDONDO BEACH — A total of 76 Optimist sailors spent two days on the water racing in a total of six regattas. Race participants helped make the Ken Hoover Memorial Regatta/Carrie #6 the biggest sailing regatta of the year in the South Bay.
