Catalina Ski Race

For 71 years, Catalina Ski Race has been considered the world’s premier waterskiing race. Water-skiers from all over the world will compete in 20 different classes, ranging from expert to novice. In total the race measures 62 miles beginning in Long Beach to Avalon and then finishing near Queen Mary. Time: 9 a.m. Entry fee to join in the competition is $400 and must be postmarked by July 10.
