One day each year, the Catalina Island Museum opens its doors free of charge to celebrate National Museum Day. Learn about Catalina Island’s rich and diverse history in its digital theater and history gallery. Explore the photography exhibition, Bettie Page Uncovered: The Unknown Photographs of Bunny Yeager before it closes Oct. 16.
New this year, the museum invites the entire community to “Meet and Greet” its new Executive Director Julie Perlin Lee and other new faces in Avalon. The “Meet and Greet” will take place from 5-7 p.m. on the museum’s second level.
