Newport Harbor Underwater Cleanup seeking land based volunteers and certified scuba divers to help clean and preserve Newport Harbor. Time: 7 a.m. Check in will take place at Balboa Bay Club starting at 7 a.m. Volunteers will be diving or dockside collecting trash from 9-11 a.m. Participants will receive an event T-shirt as well as an after party with complimentary food and beverages held at the Balboa Bay Club from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. A prize will be offered for most unusual item recovered.
