DESCRIPTION:Orange Coast College School of Sailing & Seamanship offers this class for sailors with little sailing experience who are ready to build their knowledge and confidence on the water. Students will learn sailing theory\, points of sail\, gybing\, safety and docking. Eighty percent of class time is spent sailing in Lido 14 dinghies on Newport Bay; the other time will be spent on dockside lectures. Cost: $155; $139.50 member cost.
