SUMMARY:Old Glory Boat Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Old Glory Boat Parade’s theme this year  is “America – Where Freedom Sails.” This Fourth of July boat parade starts at Collins Island and proceeds through Newport Harbor from 1-3 p.m. This annual event is sponsored by the American Legion Yacht Club (ALYC) and is free to watch from most public beaches\, docks and boardwalks throughout the harbor. All boaters are invited to decorate their vessels and participate in the parade. Registration is free and available online through the ALYC website where a map of the parade route and more information is also available at alyc.com/event-2387823.
