SUMMARY:A Night With Parker House: The Giant Sea Bass Collective
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, Sept. 11\, the Women’s Sailing Association of Santa Monica Bay presents Parker House\, co-founder of The Giant Sea Bass Collective\, a joint research project between UCSB and CSUN. This gentle giant\, a Native California fish\,  can weigh up 500 pounds. Nearly fished to extinction\, it’s making a comeback\, and House will tell us about conservation and research efforts to help preserve the bass. It’s good to know what’s under your boat! \nThe event is held at Santa Monica Windjammers YC at 13589 Mindanao Way\, Marina del Rey. Social hour begins at 6 p.m.\, followed by a light dinner at 7 p.m. The general public is invited to attend presentations by WSA free of charge twice before joining to take advantage of all offers.   Please RSVP by contacting rsvp@wsasmb.org.
