DESCRIPTION:The San Diego Sail and Power Squadron will be holding a piloting course starting May 25 through August 24. Class will cover the basics of coastal and inland navigation\, the first course in the sequence of Power Squadron courses on navigation. DESCRIPTION:Knots\, bends\, braids\, Marlin spike and eye splicing will be covered for this on-going Wednesday nights (June 5\, 12\, 19 and 26) learning sessions. We all know about the Granny\, so we will be working on some of the basics knots like the bowlin\, half hitch\, the reef knot\, the sheet bend\, the becket hitch\, the rolling hitch\, the buntline hitch and so  many more.
