DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Sailing Association (WSA) of Santa Monica Bay presents local sailor Stacie Straw\, who served as the sighted tactician for the Blind World Sailing Championships last year in Sheboygan\, Wisconsin. It was a first for Stacie\, who grew up sailing in Marina del Rey\, went through the CYC Junior Program\, and won the 2002 Women’s Match Racing Worlds as tactician for Liz Bayliss. The event is held at Santa Monica Windjammers YC\, 13589 Mindanao Way\, Marina del Rey. The general public is invited to attend an event twice yearly\, then asked to join and take advantage of all WSA has to offer.
