Brode\, an environmental scientist and reserve manager for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife\, will discuss shorebird migration along the Pacific Flyway and the critical role of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Schulman-Janiger\, a longtime cetacean researcher and educator\, will share her extensive knowledge of gray whale migration through the San Pedro Channel and its ecological significance. Following the talks\, attendees will have time to ask questions\, connect\, and enjoy a casual night of learning.
