DESCRIPTION:The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum will host Dr. Samuel Dover on Nov. 14 for a lecture on marine mammals and how they serve as an indicator species\, alerting us to the relative state of ocean health. Dover has been practicing veterinary medicine for 30 years and is the founder and Chief Veterinarian of Channel Islands Marine and Wildlife Institute. Doors open to SBMM members at 6:15 p.m. and tickets cost $10. Doors open to non-members at 6:45 p.m. and cost $20.
