My Felon aka Felly Belly (6-year-old American Bulldog) on our Highfield Sport 360 ready to cruise San Diego Bay off Shelter Island and then go paddle boarding to Kellog Beach.,” said Felly’s parent Kim in and email to the Log. There is not a day that he doesn’t pull me to the doc so he can hop on our boats. Felon is 110 pounds, so I finally purchased XL Dog Life Vest so we could start paddleboarding and go swimming at La Playa.
Our dog Pippa is [a 9-year-old] Brussels Griffon, and enjoys boating with the family aboard our MacGregor,” said Pippa’s parent in an email to the Log. “We took our first trip out to Catalina Island recently, and she was excited to see the dolphins jumping out of the water near the island. Onboard camping at a mooring was relaxing experience, and she did a fantastic job when my daughter took her to a small beach on her boogie board for a potty break.
Bella lives on a 33 foot Hans Christian named Baanyen at Pier 32 Marina in national city. She loves Dinghy rides and we have named our 14 foot Boston whaler after her “Bella’s Ride” we were on our way to the fuel dock during the quarantine.
Our late dog “TATA” was truly one of a kind, we rescued her from the streets of Bangalore, India as a puppy, brought her back with her official passport and documents to enjoy a great life here in USA. She was with her everywhere. On land or water. The most unique dog and family member we have ever had. We miss her but have so many great memories. Including expressions and time on the water like this.

I love sailing with my first mate, Sierra! We live in San Diego and own a 24 foot sailboat named Sancha. We have sailed hundreds of miles around the Pacific, with Sierra at the helm. She has been sailing since she was just two months old, and has a sturdy set of sea legs ... sometimes too sturdy! In rough seas, we have to tie her to a cleat, because not even bad weather will keep her from exploring.
She always gets me back safe

Mark Weinberger submitted this photo of his dog Sam, a one-eyed Schnoodle, sailing on his West Wight Potter in Oceanside harbor. Weinberger said when Sam isn’t sailing he can be found being walked around the harbor where he loves to socialize with other harbor dogs or, on occasion, dine al fresco with crew members at many of the harbor eateries.
Gigi and Jasmine are the first and second mates aboard a 50-foot Jefferson Rivanna, Legacy. Here they are taking a ride on a 12-foot Novurania Tender back to Legacy at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club marina.
