What a great story !!! It’s times in history like this that we all must never forget .
I have first hand experience regarding Lady Isabelle as my late Father used to maintain this launch when it was used by the Upper Thames Patrol, which was the Home Guard on the river immediately after the Dunkirk event. I have a photograph of the chaps in the launch and some names of the persons including a link to President Eisenhower’s trip in this launch.
My father Ernest Glenister was also in the lady isabelle in the UTP and is the photo.
He also went with the little ships on the Dunkirk rescue mission.
