Docking Clinic
July 18, 9:00 a.m. to noon or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; July 26, 9:00 a.m. to noon. Aventura Sailing Association will host a docking clinic designed to help sailors build confidence and improve boat-handling skills around docks and marinas. ASA 103 Coastal Cruising Course
July 18 and 19, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Aventura Sailing Association will offer its ASA 103 Coastal Cruising certification course, covering advanced sailing skills, coastal navigation, anchoring, docking and vessel systems. Cost is $795 for members; $995, non-members. Visit aventurasailing.com.
ASA ProPack Sailing Certification Program
July 13 through 19. Aventura Sailing Association’s weeklong ProPack program combines ASA 101, ASA 103 and ASA 104 certifications into one immersive sailing experience. Students will complete ASA 101 and ASA 103 July 13 to 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by ASA 104 July 16 to 19, including a liveaboard experience and two nights moored at Catalina Island. ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising
July 23 through 26. Aventura Sailing Association will offer ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising, a hands-on course designed to prepare sailors for extended coastal and offshore-style cruising. Dana West Youth Sailing Camp for Ages: 7 though 18
Date & Time: July 6 through 10, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily
Cost: $470 per week
Location: Dana West Yacht Club, Dana Point
Dana West Youth Sailing will host a one-week youth sailing camp for sailors of all skill levels. Participants will learn sailing, seamanship, teamwork and sportsmanship through hands-on instruction on the water. Boats are provided, and campers can also participate in optional Wednesday Soda Pop Races.
