The King Harbor Boating Foundation in conjunction with the USCG proposes to conduct hands-on training for local boaters in the proper use and deployment of USCG compliant handheld, aerial and LED visual distress signals, fire extinguishers and PFDs. The latest in safety equipment will also be on display at the event.
The USCG course combines the Basic Navigation and Advanced Navigation classes. Topics include: fundamentals of waypoint navigation, planning with GPS and paper charts and much more
