This USCG class focuses on GPS equipment typically owned by the recreational boater. Topics include: a navigation review, selecting a receiver, waypoint navigation, GPS underway and much more. Three week class: June 16, 23 & 30.

The Catalina Island Museum will celebrate the opening of the new Ada Blanche Wrigley Schreiner Building. The grand opening celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a film screening of “Jaws.” Special events will run from June 18-July 4 as part of the museum’s grand opening.
