Simply stated, the farm lobby is larger than the boating/marine lobby. Article says in part, this E15 rule is terrible for the environment which is one of the reasons the summer sale ban on E15 was implemented in the first place, according to Mr. Thom Dammrich, President of NMMA. Right, because over the next few years, American grain farmers will be selling an additional two billion bushels. Certainly sounds like the Farm Lobby did a good job, regardless of the facts regarding EPA and harm to boating and marine industries.
