Join mycologist Stu Pickell for a four-hour guided field excursion into the interior of Catalina Island to explore and learn about its unique fungi. Attendees should bring their own lunch and be prepared for outdoor field conditions, including standing, walking on uneven terrain, and varying weather conditions. Sturdy, close-toed shoes and a refillable water bottle are required. Participants must arrange their own transportation to the island, as boat fare on the Catalina Express is not included.
