Have you been looking for a place to learn the basics of sailboats and sailing? Has it been a while and you need a refresher on how to tie a bowline? Here’s your chance!
The Women’s Sailing Association of Santa Monica Bay is hosting a free clinic on Sailing Basics at Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club, which includes dockside lessons, a light lunch, Q & A and the chance to put your skills to the test.
The clinic is free. The afternoon sail is offered to WSA members only, but non-members will have the opportunity to join after the morning session so as to take advantage of the many sailing opportunities WSA offers. Space on the afternoon sail is limited, so sign up early!
