Fishing license for seniors
Re: State Senate approves Sportfishing Stimulus Act of 2015 (June 4, 2015). Why not include senior citizens in this provision? After all they are the main drivers of fishing in this state. Anonymous Submitted on TheLog.com
And another thing…
Re: State Senate approves Sportfishing Stimulus Act of 2015 (June 4, 2015). It is hard enough to enforce the limits now. Opening a window of opportunity for idiots to go beyond their legal limit would be a disaster! Expecting those who already believe they are above the law to donate to some “charity”? Really? I think that fines for over-limit should be double what they are now.

Sensible Fishing License Fees
Re: State Senate approves Sportfishing Stimulus Act of 2015 (June 4, 2015). A couple of things that would be easily implemented here: Re-establishing a fresh/saltwater distinction would go a long way toward more guys buying licenses. I have not fished in fresh water for over 40 years so it seems unfair to have to buy a combined license. Why not go back to the basic license and then buy “stamps” to cover the kind of fishing you actually do? I love...
