I was a cook and crew on the Skookum in the Virgin Islands when the 26 Texans owned and chartered her out. Best time of my life. Bruce Johnson was the skipper. We took a group of 6-8 Texans out for a week’s cruise at a time. I sailed on her for 3 months, April to June, 1977. Awesome adventure.
