Join the Women’s Sailing Association of Santa Monica Bay for a presentation by Jenny Krusoe, Executive Director of Alta Sea, an ocean research and innovation institute at the Port of Los Angeles. Krusoe will speak on how Alta Sea’s research and development is positioning Los Angeles as the center of the Blue Economy, whose goal is to make economic development and ocean health compatible. The event is being held at Santa Monica Windjammers YC, 13589 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey. Social hour starts at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a light dinner 7 p.m. and the program.
