MARINA DEL REY — Vessel owners at the Harbor at Marina Bay, formerly Bay Club Marina, can now enjoy the use of upgraded utilities and updated dockside amenities, as part of an extensive renovation project completed this year.
In May, the marina reopened with several new features. Upgrades include the replacement of a former 30-year-old dock with a new low-maintenance concrete dock system.
Tenants at the 207-slip marina will enjoy use of the new dock system, constructed by Bellingham Marine, which features a colored concrete finish with an ashlars stamped pattern, contemporary design gangways with accent lighting, in-slip pumpout systems and rounded finger corners.
“When the owners of Marina Bay approached us about this project, they were looking for the latest in floating dock technology; they wanted a dock system that was low-maintenance and a marina that was set apart from others in the harbor, in style and function,” said Eric Noegel, manager of project development for Bellingham Marine’s Southwest Division.
The Harbor at Marina Bay also includes a newly installed paved promenade, boater restrooms with showers, wireless Internet service and boater parking.
Owned and operated by Avalon Bay, the marina consists of single berth slips and 11 end-ties, for boats from 22 to 90 feet in length.
The marina’s boat slips are available to the public for leasing. For information on slip availability, call (310) 821-2542 or email [email protected]. Visit theharboratmarinabay.com for additional information on the marina.
