Marine Electrical Systems

USPS “Marine Electrical Systems” course begins on Wed., June 21 and is open to the public for low cost. The course will continue on Wed., June 28 and then Thurs. nights July 13-Sept. 7. The course is presented in seven chapters starting with an explanation of what electricity is, followed by discussions on boat electrical wiring, DC and AC electrical systems, galvanic and stray current corrosion, lightning protection, and ends with troubleshooting of boat electrical problems.
