  1. I used to go on the Galatea occasionally as a kid. My grandfather, Tom Bussjaeger, was cousins with Violet.

  2. Had a Christmas dinner on Galatea in early 80s when I worked at Alimitos Gen Sta where the care taker for the yacht Paul Fillenger worked. It was a grand yacht spiral staircase and all the beautiful interior wood work.

  3. There are a whole bunch stereo 3D photo slides showing the Galatea being built, as well as some original 16mm film footage going up for sale next month from Hanna’s daughter, Bonnie. Bill was pretty involved in the construction of this beautiful yacht.
