In this feature, The Log looks at notable boats -- sail and power -- that continue to turn heads in Southern California harbors.
Boat Name: Sally
Length: 59 ft.
Beam: 10 ft., 5 in.

What a magnificent yacht. I have raced against her and sailed on her, I prefer the latter. Hope to do so again
My dad, John Nicholas, sailed on the Sally boat, 1940. My sister was born May 1940, and named after her. My mom had a picture of the crew aboard the Sally, but it was lost. Do any pics remain from about that time. I believe Larry Dudley was also a crew member.
Does anyone know if a Louis Burk or Lou Burk ever owned the boat I’m not sure when but I’m guessing sometime between 1940 and 1980
