In answering the key question of who is advocating for Southern California boaters at a regional level, boaters should know that RBOC [Recreational Boaters of California] continues its active advocacy efforts on key regional issues. Just yesterday, immediate past president John Marshall and VIce President South Dan Hodge advocated boater concerns before the regional water quality control board considering new restrictions on boater use of copper-based anti-fouling paints in Newport Bay.
