Our deep condolences to his family and friends, prayers and blessings. I remember his great smile, I worked at West Marine Shelter Island and he was one of our most noticeable clients always treated us with respect, kind and friendly. RIP Kevin
Kevin was a bright light and a beautiful soul…He was a long time member at the Kona Kai Club & many of us will truly miss him. Our hearts & prayers go out to his family…Rest in Peace & know that you are loved Kevin
Kevin was a cherished member of the Kona Kai Club community for many years. His sincerity and geniality will be missed by all on Shelter Island. Our thoughts are with his family during this sad time.
Kevin was such a unique and brilliant friend when I knew him well in the late 60’s. I remember sailing on his dad’s Chinese junk that he had at Newport harbor and spending the weekend causing all kinds of mischief. I also remember him telling me once that I had to get over to his house (when he still lived in Anaheim) to listen to the new Beatles album. I told him that I wasn’t interested (at 12 years old) in holding anyone’s hand. But, he made me sit down and listen to Revolver…I was blown away. I was always laughing and learning something new whenever I was around him. I missed him a lot when his family moved to Irvine and I rarely got to see him. He always added a glow to everything, every time. With tears in my eyes, I say farewell and hope that he will always glow in the heavens as he did here on this earth.
